I started the Launching Pad after seeing first hand during grad school young people in foster care aging out and having no family support at this critical stage of their lives! I was fortunate to have been born into a loving supportive family and want to help give that to kids who through no choice of their own find themselves in the system.
We need to raise $100,000 to get this land and home launched. We will provide a loving kinship environment for kids in the Northeast Indiana and Southwest Michigan area. Helping with education, vocation, independent living skills, counseling, substance abuse, community service opportunities, spiritual guidance, and social entrepeneurship opportunities.
