Diana Hansana was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a cherished sister, aunt, and a loyal friend to all who knew her. She is survived by her three sons- Nicholas, Preston, and Mikey, and her grandson Kenzo. She was known for her incredible work ethic and heart of gold, willing to help those she loved in time of need.
In early 2025, Diana was diagnosed with cancer. Throughout this time, she was determined to fight her illness and stay strong for her family. As her illness progressed, she remained extremely brave while facing countless hospital stays, chemotherapy treatments, and enduring the pain. While her husband Chan stayed by her side and was taking care of her daily, her sons stepped up to continue to run the family business. After a long battle, the family was notified that the cancer had progressed too much and unfortunately no further treatment could be provided. On March 15th, 2026, Diana passed away peacefully at a hospice home surrounded by her family, friends, and loved ones.
As the owner of Thai Star Sushi Bar, Diana was extremely dedicated and has served her community of Madeira Beach for over a decade. After working tirelessly at multiple restaurants, she was able to open up her very own business in 2014. She was a hard worker that showed up every day to cook, create recipes, and take care of her restaurant. She had many patrons that came from all over the world- all who have enjoyed her cuisine and knew her for her sweet, kind personality. Her business’s success is a reflection of her dedication and resilience. Not only was she able to provide a better life for her three sons, but she has also given them a lasting legacy. Her passing has left a profound void, but her love will last forever in our heart and memory.
