On October 16, 2018, Chi Lu, 56, was involved in a tragic car accident that caused a severe brain injury and left him in a coma. He passed away very suddenly on New Year’s Eve. He came to America to leave his siblings behind to pursue a better future for his kids. He worked tirelessly every day as a handyman and picked up whatever job he could to make ends meet. Through his struggles as a refugee, he came to the U.S. with nothing and has learned what it is to be in need. He was a loving father of 5 and loved his kids. He taught his children to be kind, to give to those in need, to care for one another as a family. Most importantly, he was too kind for his own good. He loved everyone, including his kids and friends. In his endeavor in trying to keep everyone happy, he sacrificed his happiness and gave away everything to those who were less fortunate. In the end, he was left with nothing. Please help his children try to raise money and put their loving father to rest.
We would greatly appreciate any donation; no amount is too small. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generous gesture.
