Medical and living expenses

In memory of Joseph Mullins. I’m setting up this Go Fund Me account to help my sister Anita who sadly lost her beloved husband of 34 years to stage 4 lung cancer. Joe was diagnosed in June and passed away shortly thereafter 8 days before his 61st birthday on October 3rd . They were not prepared for this being as Joe was the sole bread winner for the family. My sister has his extensive medical bills, his burial expenses and a mortgage that she cannot afford on her own. She has contacted social security but they refuse to give her his death benefits for another 4 years. She does have a small life insurance policy coming that will of course take time to receive.

Joe was an amazing husband, dad, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, veteran of 13 years in the Navy and a friend to all that knew him. Joe was a simple man and his greatest joy came from spending time at home with his family. Those of you who knew him couldn’t help but love Joe and those of you who didn’t missed out on knowing a truly kind person. He would do anything for anyone and even through his last days he was thinking of others.

Any money you can donate will help his family with all of the expenses she owes and the ones that haven’t even come through yet.
