Hi everyone. My name is Karla. i have been struggling with an infection in my right leg since 2016. I was told that I needed to have my right leg amputated Despite fighting to save my leg for years, the bone infection was not getting better. I underwent an amputation of my leg just below the knee. In 2022. Months of IV antibiotics , using a wound vac ,several stays at hospital and numerous doctor visits. Nothing seems to be getting better, I am still hopeful of walking and driving and working again. I am taking PT again , in effort to get back on my feet.

With years now of added medical-related costs, I have scaled back my living needs, pulled all f retirement savings, Now I face my biggest fear losing my home. I have to relearn how to walk, drive, and take care of myself. It’s a long recovery process made more difficult then i expected. I could really use some support
