Cancer Recovery & Healing
At 32, my partner Jumoke faced a rare neuroendocrine tumour that required emergency surgery. While the tumor was successfully removed, the recovery has been challenging—both physically and emotionally. Jumoke has faced severe anxiety and trauma following his cancer journey. Therapy has been a lifeline, but that support is ending even as he continues to heal.
We are fundraising to:
• Continue therapy and counseling, including art therapy that has been deeply helpful.
• Support his emotional and mental recovery, giving him the tools to move forward.
My partner has always given back—supporting children with autism and learning disabilities through his work. Now he needs support to recover and rebuild his life.
Your support makes a direct difference in Jumoke’s recovery journey.

Thank-You & Support Through Art
Jumoke is a visual artist and jewellery maker, and for those who wish to support him further, his handmade jewellery and art prints are available on his Etsy page [rootwatashop.etsy.com]. Every purchase helps him continue creating and healing.
Even sharing this page or sending love is a meaningful way to help. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us.
We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Olivier for writing the article about Jumoke’s journey. Your story helped raise awareness and connected us to so many kind people—thank you for shining a light on our journey.

UPDATE
After some reflection, we’ve decided to lower our fundraising goal so that it feels more realistic and directly connected to what we need most right now: continuing therapy and emotional recovery after cancer.
Every dollar raised will go toward:
• Ongoing therapy sessions (including art therapy, which has been incredibly healing)
• Counseling support to manage trauma and anxiety following cancer surgery
• Giving Jumoke the stability he needs to focus on recovery and rebuilding.
From our hearts to yours—thank you for being part of this recovery.
