On July 6th , 2020, at 6:45 pm on the south side of Chicago, Willie Goins was the innocent victim of a senseless crime. As he sat in the car waiting to drive off, two cars full of males pulled up. Realizing his fate, Willie asked if the two ladies could exit the vehicle when they approached the car. His heroism saved two lives, but unfortunately, he could not spare his own. What Willie did took heart as he was shot in his chest.   In his very last moment, he sacrificed his own life for the sake of others. He leaves behind two teenage sons and two young daughters. Our family is asking for help in adequately sending off a real hero. Willie was an amazing father, son, brother, uncle and friend, and his many family members and friends are truly mourning and will miss him dearly. Any size donation will be accepted and appreciated.
