My name is Amy Earl.  I have recently been diagnosed with ALS.  It came as a surprise to me because I am perfectly healthy.  They ruled everything out from cancer to Lyme disease.  My organs work perfectly and my blood work isn’t just good it’s REALLY good.  So you can imagine my surprise to find out I am dying.  ALS has taken a financial toll on me and my family.  I have three kids, ages 13, 10 and 7, and they are all at expensive ages.  We are setting up this account to help with the medical expenses associated with my illness.  I am not yet wheelchair bound but I am already having difficulty walking and walking any distance wears me out completely so a wheelchair will be an upcoming expense.  We are also looking into going to other clinics and universities to get involved with treatments and studies that insurances will not pay for.  The money raised here will help us do that and hopefully extend my life.  Thank you.
