Love. Care. Support. Casey's journey continues.

Hi loved ones,

Greetings from Chicago again, a week after Casey's operation to remove the ileostomy. His surgery was successful, thank heavens, and after an unexpected several extra days in the hospital he is now home. We are all so grateful to have him back home with his family!

As I said before, the surgical repairs and reconfiguring of his body has been very serious, impacting his life now and into the future. Thank heavens the pathology a few months ago showed the cancer was Stage 1, and we are all hopeful that he is currently cancer free.

Casey's work life has been seriously challenged; his recovery is expected to take him some time as he regains strength and function. He is as determined as ever to get through this chapter and live his life fully once again.

Thank you all for your loving concern and support: the candles, the prayers, the monetary assistance, the healing visualizations, and so much more has all been so meaningful.

We certainly do have a beautiful village.

With so much love,

Pattyma
