Support Craig’s Fight Against Leukemia

Dear Family and Friends,

We are reaching out to you for assistance during a challenging time for my baby brother Craig Russell, who has been diagnosed with leukemia in July 2024. He received news earlier this month the leukemia has relapsed. This news was like a gut punch to all of us, but we are determined to continue supporting Craig in this battle and ensure he receives the best possible treatment. As you may know, fighting leukemia requires not only medical care but also emotional and financial support. The treatment process is very overwhelming for the family, both physically and financially. This is why we have created this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate some of the burdens associated with medical expenses, medications, lodging, and traveling back and forth to Atlanta for treatment. My brother’s doctor informed him he could no longer work due to his dangerously low white blood cell count, which has put additional stress not only on the household financially, but also mental stress on him because he can no longer provide for his family.

My brother has always been a stand-up husband, father, brother, and friend to everyone. He has gotten up out of his bed to assist many. I have had to watched my brother lose over 100 pounds in less then ten months, lose hair, and tremendously weakened muscle that is causing a lot of falling. This really sucks to watch such an awesome guy go through this. His amazing wife Dana and his children (Amber, Neek, Quasha, Craig, and Cameron), G-Daddy’s three heart beats and his immediate family have been by his side through it all. He has been not only his wife and children hero, but my hero as well. And what is so amazing to watch is his faith in God has not wavered at all. My brother still praising God through this all.
