I have stage 4 cancer (Mucinous adenocarcinoma). And this is how I got myself in the place I am in.
My family and I moved to FL to be closer to my big sister Kathy. After losing my brother and my mom in the past 5 years, I wanted to be close to her because she has been the matriarch of our family. I would have a better chance to see my other siblings and my nieces and nephews; we are all getting up there in years.
However, after getting here 5 months ago, we were having a hard time getting people to rent to us because of our 2 dogs. If you are a dog lover like us, they are family. After getting them both registered as support animals and living in and out of Airbnbs, I thought on Sep 29th that I had the flu. For the next few days, I was not getting any better and I was starting to be in the worst pain of my life! I finally called an ambulance, and once I started getting a lot of tests done, I was told that I have stage 4 cancer (Mucinous adenocarcinoma).
We still do not have a permanent place to live and I need to start chemo and radiation next week, so I am going to plead and beg for help to get us into a place to live and to get caught up on a few other bills. This is really hard for me to ask people for money that I can't pay back, but I really want a fighting chance to beat this cancer and having a home base would help me to fight without worrying every week where are we going to live this week.
