We are RPI Rudras, the premier competitive Bharatanatyam dance team at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York. Our goal is to perform classical dance whilst incorporating modern themes. Each year, Rudras travels to different states to compete against other collegiate Bharatanatyam teams. A great amount of effort goes into deciding on a theme, finding new music, and, of course, choreographing. We are thankful for the encouragement we have received thus far and hope you will continue to support us.

This spring, we will be competing at NCSU Navarasa, UTD Hansini, and Pitt Dhirana. To participate, we need to purchase new costumes and book hotel rooms for each event, as well as purchase plane tickets for the team. Each competition also has its own registration fee. We would greatly appreciate your support by helping with our expenditures in any way you can.
