Help Raneen and her family get out of Gaza

Hello, my name is Raneen, and I am from Gaza.

I got married during the war, amidst the bombing and fear, and today — by the grace of God — we have been blessed with our first child, our little baby Zain

But behind this new life is a long and painful journey of survival and endurance.

I suffer from a serious platelet disorder, which causes heavy bleeding whenever I catch even a simple virus. During our displacement, I became pregnant, and my condition worsened — I was admitted to the hospital multiple times.

My husband, Wael, had to search day and night for the necessary medications and proper nutrition, despite how rare and expensive everything was. With no job or income, he did everything he could to protect me and our unborn child.

To survive, we started a small home-based project — making and selling sweets when sugar was available. But the project stopped when sugar disappeared. Later, we launched another project: baking bread for families who had no firewood. It worked for a while… until the occupation announced the possibility of returning to Gaza. We had to go back to our destroyed home, once again left with nothing.

Later on, my husband was able to open a small stand — like a mini-market — thanks to small donations from here and some help from family members in the neighborhood, to provide medicine and food for me and the baby. But prices became unbelievably high, and he was forced to shut the project down again.

Today, we are blessed with our baby Zain — but his health is fragile. I can’t breastfeed him properly due to my own lack of nutrition, and now he is suffering from jaundice. He urgently needs infant formula and medical treatment.
And now, we are once again forced to flee our home in Al-Tuffah neighborhood after the army declared the area unsafe — carrying our baby Zain into the unknown.

I’m sharing my story not to complain, but because I still believe there is goodness in this world ❤️

If you can help in any way, please don’t hesitate. Even the smallest donation can make a huge difference in providing milk, medicine, and basic needs for my baby and me.

Unfortunately, Zain is very sick
His tiny body cannot bear all this pain, and the main reason is the lack of food and medical care, which were not available amid the ongoing war and displacement.

Zain is in urgent need of care and support. As a family, we are going through very hard moments — watching him suffer while we feel completely helpless
