The Nunez Family

Hello, my name is Lali; I'm fundraising to help my sister and brother-in-law as they are battling their daughter's illness. As they care for Elle, they have to use their PTO, sick and vacation days and even unpaid to be with her, as any parent would want to be with their child. Between the stress of caring for my niece, countless medical appointments and recent hospitalization, the last thing they need is to be burdened with the stress of finances and medical bills.

 

Denise and Hector are loving parents to their daughter Gabrielle. Like her older sister Genevieve, she was diagnosed at three months old with Sandhoff disease, a rare neurological hereditary disorder that affects infants. Recently her illness started to manifest, and she has needed extra medical care and special attention to give her a good quality of life at home with the support of Hoffman Hospice. As they rely on their faith, they hope and pray for a miracle to cure Elle.

 

I thought, how can their friends, family, colleagues and the community come together to help them and show them our support while they have the time to spend with their daughter Elle.
