Medical expenses for my brother

My brother, Lukas, was in a really bad accident early Monday morning. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition and has some serious injuries. He is conscious, and his condition is no longer considered critical, but he has multiple fractured bones, including a fracture in his skull, and had to have a large gash in his head sewn up. As of now, we have no idea about medical costs, but doctors are saying he is going to be out of work for a while. He cannot walk on his own and is definitely going to need a few medical items to assist him in his daily life. Due to his injuries, he is not going to have an income for quite some time. I would like to raise some funds to at least be able to help him out with the basics, like food, transportation to any medical appointments (it was NOT his vehicle in the accident, but due to his injuries it may be a while before he can drive), medical equipment he will need (he is definitely going to need a platform walker) and any medical bills he may have to pay (We are not yet sure if/what he will be responsible for paying for medically). Anyone who knows my brother knows what a great kid he is, always there to help out a friend. I would like to be able to help him out where I can, so I figured this would be a good start.
