Triumph Acd 6th grd Science Camp

Hello,
we have been fundraising to send the 6th grade class of Triumph Academy located in Monroe Mi to a 4 day science camp in May. This camp is very expensive and with all the efforts of parents, teachers, 6th grade students and school. They are $5500.00 short for what is needed for these children to attend camp.
This camp is a excellent experience for the kids to learn and experience things they might not otherwise ever get to in the world of science. It's also a chance for students to interact with each other outside of the school atmosphere while still learning. For many of these kids, it's their first over night away from home, something that helps build self-confidence, and independence. As a parent of one of the children attending this camp, I would really hate to see these kids miss out. My son is Autistic and was extremely nervous about going, up until just recently where he started to show excitement, which is not a common emotion for him. It just tells us that this is something truly wonderful for him and his class to experience. He along with his classmates, can get so many benefits from this. Ms. Hoffman their teachers is truly one of the teachers you pray your child will be lucky enough to have. She puts her whole heart into these kids, she will be attending camp right along with them, and pays her cost from her own pocket. They have raised almost $10k so far, with lots of fundraising through out the year that these kids have worked so hard doing. They are so close, but with May approaching quickly we, we fear we may not be able to reach the $15k needed for the kids to go. We are $5500.00 away!! Can you help send these kids to science camp? They are all very bright and eager to learn. It would break our hearts to be so close and have to tell them we didn't succeed for them. Thank you all.
