Let me introduce you to my friend Liz Sullivan, some of you may aleady know her. I met Liz 3 years ago and was immediatly impressed by this amazing woman!  Liz has continued to impress me with her strength and determination, especially now.Liz is a full time student, working on her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy and she works 2 part-time jobs. She has not let anything get in the way of her dream to help others through her career.At the young age of 32 years old, Liz was diagnosed with cancer.  From the minute she found out she has attacked this issue the same way she attacks everything else.  She gathered all the information possible, made an informed decision and went forward with what she had to do.In doing this she did run into some obstacles like the fact that she was just days shy of having enough time in for FMLA leave and the fact that while her insurance covered her doctor it did not cover the hospital costs.  Liz has to take weeks off work and will not be paid during that time.
I'm reaching out to everyone I know, everyone she knows and anyone else who would be willing to help this young woman get through this tough time and on to what she was called to do!!  Her surgery was a huge success and it would be a shame for that miracle to be tainted by having her strapped with an enormous amount of debt.
