On Friday October 23 Scott was going to work and swerved to miss a deer. He was air lifted to Gundersen in LaCrosse, where he was diagnosed with a shattered C7 vertebrae(broken neck). After undergoing surgery for about 7 hours, he is still paralyzed from the chest down. We were able to move from the Critical Care Unit on 10/28/15 in the afternoon and he is now in In-Patient Rehab. He is dong very well with his Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. He has a very long road ahead of him but he is very determined to do the best that he can with everything.
