Hi! My names Kaleigh and I am Danielle's younger sister. This means I've known her long enough to know shes the most stubbornly independent person I know so she'd never ask for help no matter how much she could use it. We found out recently that she has Metastic Breast Cancer. We are so thankful it was caught early, but the road between hearing the C word and being able to say she beat cancers a$$ is going to be a long one. Shes one of the strongest people I've ever met so there's not a doubt in my mind we will get to celebrate her being cancer free. However, the amount of work she'll have to miss while she's getting treatment will result in not only lost wages but stress that she doesn't need when her main focus needs to be on getting better for herself and my incredible niece and nephew. Not to sound selfish but I need her to get better for me too; she's my rock just like I know I'm hers. So, any money we are able to raise will be used to supplement her income she's missing while she undergoes surgery and the treatment that comes after.
