Roy was adopted from Greys in July 2025. Kelli kindly matched us with Roy as he's a great companion for my husband who works from home. Roy retired from racing in November 2024 when he broke his stopper bone. Roy's mobility is limited and after further X-rays, 3 seperate vets have confirmed that arthrodesis (fusing of the joint) is the only way to give him quality of life. Roy isn't insured but this pre existing condition wouldn't be covered regardless. The quote for the surgery is £5178.54 (see images) which we will really struggle to afford.
