Roy Gernon is an amazing son, brother, husband, father and grandfather.  He has been fighting cancer for over a year now.  He has been through radiation treatments, chemotherapy, and travelled to Houston Methodist Hospital for treatment in a cancer drug study.  His cancer persists, but through it all his good nature has not been defeated.  Roy's devout faith and sense of humor have been carrying him through.  As has his wife Charlene, who is always by his side.
