My ESA dog, Royce, is an 8-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier who was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis. It all started on Memorial Day, and he saw his vet the next day. After lab work and x-rays, the diagnosis was made, and the prognosis was good! A week later, Royce ended up having to stay at the vet’s office for fluids and meds and was progressing nicely when he came home. Yesterday, he started feeling sickly again.
The problem comes where I have exhausted all of my funding, opened a Care Credit card, and his medical needs are looking like they’re going to be ongoing for a bit yet, and I am unable to meet these needs. Royce is the most loving, compassionate, lap dog that you’d ever meet. He enjoys long walks, being funny, cuddling with my other 3 dogs, and above all else, he loves his mamma and everyone that he meets.
I am to the point where I shamefully am asking for help: begging for help to get him better because he has so many more years to live, love to share, and support to offer. Thank you for reading and please share. I am desperate here because I think we need to go back to the vet, yet again. God bless.
