Hello, my name is Michael Olson.

Earlier this week, my son's family emotional support dog, Royce, had a very large dog jump off a table on him while his emotional support person was grooming this dog.

As a result of this very large dog falling on Royce, Royce sustained a broken pelvis and needed surgery to keep him alive.

Royce is an emotional support dog to his owner as well as an emotional support dog to the rest of his family. He always greets and plays with other dogs that come to get groomed.

Recently, our grandson has undergone a variety of illnesses requiring hospitalization. As soon as he returned home, Royce stayed with him until he was feeling better.

The surgery and care from Michigan State University that was/is required to save Royce is very expensive and not covered by insurance. The family has chosen to save Royce but could greatly use some help to pay the hospital bills.

The total cost of his surgery and recovery is estimated to be between 8 and 10 thousand dollars.
