As many of you may know our friend and colleague, Royce Railey, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer in 2016. The diagnosis came just weeks after he was laid off from his job, leaving him with the life threatening health crisis and little to no insurance. Royce and his beautiful amazing wife Deborah live in Los Banos, CA where they have called home for over 25 years. They have raised three wonderful children and recently had the pleasure of seeing their daughter get married. For those who do not know Royce please understand that this is a man who never backs away from a challenge and will face any hurdle that comes in his way of success.




In 2011, Royce made a life changing decision and decided to take up a healthier lifestyle. In over a 3 year period he loss over 150 lbs. He achieved his goal because that is the kind of person he is. He fights and fights until he wins, he does not just give up. Many ask him how he did it, he ran. He ran every day, ate healthier and ran some more until the pounds just fell off. Given his new lifestyle and the amazing results, he was seeing we were all shocked to hear of the terrible diagnosis.  


After learning that the stage 4 lung cancer had spread to the brain and other vital parts of the body we knew he had an extremely tough journey ahead of him. In order to fight against the 18 tumors that developed he was placed on a special treatment using the drug called Keytruda. While on Keytruda the tumors started to disappear but after 2 years on the treatment the medication was no longer effective. He has recently been place on a standard chemotherapy regiment. His inner strength and desire to fight the cancer has never waivered and the desire to return to the days he would run in his favorite marathons around CA has never been stronger.



This journey has been very difficult one both physically and mentally, but also financially.
Our friend needs our help dealing with these enormous medical bills that have been coming in and the ones that are expected to come in order beat this illness.

We are asking for any and all donations to help and if you cannot we ask for your prayers and well wishes to help Royce beat the toughest challenge he has ever had to face. With everyone's help though he does not have to do it alone.


There are no magical words that I can write that will convince you to assist with a donation, so I just say this, Royce Railey has been safety professional for over 30 years, preventing injuries and saving lives. He has been there for so many people, now he needs us.
