Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read our story.

My name is Carolyn and my husband is Royce. We are a devoted couple who have weathered many storms together, In 2020, the pandemic brought unexpected hardship when I was laid off from my job. Shortly after, I developed a serious heart condition, and in July of that year, I experienced a cardiac arrest. I was hospitalized for nine days and came close to losing my life twice. Given the severity of my health issues, returning to work was no longer a viable option, and I made the difficult decision to retire.

At the same time, my husband was also facing serious health issues. He was diagnosed with Amyloidosis, a rare and life-threatening disease that ultimately required a heart transplant. In late 2021, he received a new heart and showed incredible strength and resilience throughout the process.

More recently, he suffered a fractured neck due to a fall and underwent spinal fusion surgery. He is currently in recovery and is expected to undergo two to three additional surgeries to address other ongoing health concerns.

The financial strain from ongoing medical bills and our inability to work has placed us in a very difficult financial position. At this moment, we are unable to cover several other essential living expenses. We are humbly asking for support to help us get through this incredibly difficult time.
