Hello!

My name is Andrew John Wilson and I am fundraising for a short film I have written that I will also be directing and acting in called Table for Two. The film tells a story inspired by personal events that I’ve been wanting to share for a long time. In congruence with the making of this film, I am starting a production company called Roy Boy Productions, which will produce Table for Two and future projects yet to come…

Roy Boy was my great grandfather - a jack of all trades and master of some; known for his piano playing, having never met a stranger, and whistling with the birds to name a few. The Roy Boy Productions mission is to carry on his legacy of living a beautiful life full of highs and lows, left turns and right, and hitting the ‘record’ button a few times along the way, ‘cause why the hell not.

Table for Two tells the story of two perfect strangers, Ben and Josie, who meet on a street corner and end up walking around together all night - the way they fall for each other is something you only see in the movies. The perfect bookend to this evening is cut short when Ben turns down a glass of wine - he's sober. Josie abruptly gets up and leaves. Ben retraces their steps wondering what just happened, and it's clear he might make a mistake and call an old friend. The film explores why Josie actually left, and how the answer to a confusing moment might come when you least expect it. In Ben's case, a painting.

Production starts in early September and we need your help to make it happen! Any donations made to Roy Boy Productions LLC will go directly to the funding of Table for Two. The $28,000 we hope to raise will support the cast, crew, locations, and all other efforts made to bring this story to life.
