Hi, my name is Amy, and this October, I'm taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise money for Anthony Nolan, an incredible charity that helps save the lives of people with blood cancers and rare disorders through stem cell transplants.

My amazing friend Inês was diagnosed with HLH (Haemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis) - a rare and life threatening immune disorder. She was lucky to receive a stem cell transplant from her sister, which saved her life.

Not everyone is lucky enough to have a donor in their family. This is where Anthony Nolan steps in. They connect willing donors with patients in urgent need of a stem cell transplant, to ultimately save their life.
