We are a Corps of drums based in the north West of England, the charity was formed by an Ex Royal Marine band member who has a passion for music.

The Royal Marines Association Corps of drums was set up by Mark peers who is a an ex veteran serving 10 years with the Royal marine band, we are also lucky to have Adam, Marks son, who is currently serving with the Royal Marines. The band was set up to have a goal of educating kids and young adults how to play instruments, and learn the disciplines of the Royal Marines with the aim to be a popular local community marching band.

Since the development of this charity the band has been successful in their commitment of education and development of our young members 2 of which have been successful of Joining their chosen career path of the Royal Marines.

We are a self funded charity aiming to raise money for new instruments, uniforms and other equipment that is vital to be able to continue to educate and support our younger generations who wish to be a part of such a great community. Previously we have raised funds via parade marches, setting up stalls at local events and much more- band members love to get involved, along with support of their loved ones.

On previous years we have been able to raise the funds to take our band members over to Normandy for the 80th anniversary where not only did they turn out on parade but also were able to have time to learn the historical values of why there were performing in such a service.

We have been invited back for our second trip to Normandy to perform as a band, which has proven to be an excellent educational benefit to our band members.
