We start this new Pokémon season with some very sad news. Roy "Old Man" Roberson, Oklahoma PTO passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018. Roy was instrumental in the Pokémon community from the beginning as it grew in Oklahoma.
Many of us have fond memories of Oklahoma State Championships with Roy. He worked hard to ensure everyone had a good time and he put on a fun and fair event. He worked tirelessly at Pokémon events – he was often at Texas States, Arkansas States, US Nationals & Worlds.
Roy’s memorial service will be held at Life Church in Midwest City, OK. (6909 E Reno Ave, Midwest City, OK 73110) on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 1:00pm.
A Go-Fund-Me account has been set up to help the family with immediate costs.
