It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our dear friend LaShawn's beloved husband, Roy. After 33 years of marriage, Roy passed away last week, leaving behind a family and a community who loved him dearly. Roy wished to be laid to rest in his hometown of Minden, Louisiana. We, their friends and family, want to honor his final wishes and provide him with the memorial he deserves, but this comes with a significant financial burden.

This fundraiser is being created to help LaShawn with the costs of transporting his remains from Lewisville, Texas, to Minden. These funds will cover expenses associated with interstate mortuary transportation, and other related costs.
