It is with a very heavy heart that we share with you that Roy Lawhorn passed away this past Monday, March 30th. It was sudden and unexpected.
Roy celebrated his 20th anniversary with the Firm last November. He was kind, patient, and always had a happy “Hey, how are you?” as he passed you in the hall. His wife also told me how much he loved working at the Firm. Roy was our "gentle giant."
He was always willing to help out with whatever was needed, whether at work or personally. He loved football and basketball, and of course rooted for the Lions and Pistons.
Roy is survived by his loving wife Latonya and two stepsons, Marshaun and Marcus. He was a proud husband and stepfather.
Funeral details are uncertain due to the COVID-19 restraints about gatherings.
If you are interesting in making a donation, your contribution will go towards supporting his family and covering his memorial costs.
