Update: Roy was released from the hospital, and he is now in the care of his mom and family. Recovery will be lengthy, and your donation is being used to ensure his bills are paid until he can start working again. So many of you who donated have never even met Roy, and his family is incredibly grateful and humbled that you joined us in supporting him. He is a very determined person, and he can't wait to get back to work.

Previous Update: After being struck by a vehicle on Valentine's Day, our cousin Roy is finally taking some steps with assistance from his nurses! He has even been able to start talking—one of his first sentences since “waking up” was to ask for coffee :) This is incredible progress, considering the extent of his injuries, including Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and several fractures.

We’re so close to our goal—I'm asking you to join his family in raising funds that will be used for immediate needs as his medical team continues to assess the long-term impacts of his injuries. Thank you to those who have stepped up so far! Anything and everything helps! The money is being used to pay for Roy's expenses like utilities, insurance, transportation, vehicle maintenance, bills related to tools for his job, and even food for his two dogs so he can focus on the long road ahead to healing.
