Roy Gordon Medical and Family Expenses

Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that I have to update you all that Roy Gordon , my most amazing best  friend, husband, father, daddy, friend, uncle, son and everything in between passed away at 10:03 this morning.
He will be missed by so many.  Hug your loved ones and hold them tight.

Update 09/14/2021
Kim received a call from the kidney specialist this morning to get approval to start kidney dialysis as Roys lab work kept getting worse and heading towards kidney failure.  Of course They were given the OK and he started dialysis at noon our time.  They will do blood work every 8 hours to monitor all his numbers and see if the dialysis is working.  After his latest round of blood work, levels have improved (but very minimal)
Between Covid, pneumonia, blood clot, 2 bacterial infections, dangerously low oxygen, and now possible kidney failure…prayers are needed now more than ever for healing, and for his wife and kids.

Update: 9/11/2021
Unfortunately there was no progress overnight, but no decline either.  Kidney levels were down from yesterday! They have found that he has a secondary bacterial infection in both lungs which is causing severe inflammation as well. Dr said he wouldn’t be with us today if they hadn’t chosen to put him on the ventilator when they did. They are changing up his antibiotics now that they know what else his body is fighting against.  The doctor said that he will be in this sedation/paralytic state for another 5 days at the very least in hopes that his body can start healing… keep the prayers coming.

Update (September 8th, 2021) Roy was sent back to ICU this morning around 2am-ish and later this morning after the pulmonologist reviewed his case he was placed on a ventilator. Kim and kids drove down to Twin Falls today (and made it safely) Please continue with all the prayers for strength for both Roy and family. Thank you.

Saturday (September 4th) morning, Roy was taken to his local hospital by ambulance after battling Covid 19 for a week in his home. When he arrived not only did he have Covid he also was diagnosed with pneumonia, abnormal kidney function, extremely low oxygen levels, and possible pulmonary emboli. They got him started on oxygen and meds and he was then life flighted to St Luke’s Hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho. He will stay there for several days while he try’s to overcome this awful illness.
We are asking everyone for continuous prayer for a fast recovery. We recognize that many people are facing hardship during this pandemic but if you are able- any donation will be greatly appreciated by the family for the costs incurred during his battle and while Roy is not able to work while trying to recover.
