Roy Butler's recovery from a house fire
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Caleb Butler and I've set up this fundraiser for my father, Roy Butler.
At 4 am on the morning of January 16, Roy Butler lost everything in a devastating house fire. Roy made it out safely, but unfortunately his dog, Pebbles, did not. Roy will be starting over from scratch, as the fire was a total loss, destroying all clothes, furniture and even his transportation leaving him with only the shorts he was wearing.
More about Roy:
Roy served in the US Army in the late 1970s, after his enlistment he moved to Houston from Chicago where he started a family and worked as a carpenter until the early 2000s. Roy's career was cut short by a job site injury that required a multi-year rehabilitation. Several years ago roy moved to Alabama to be closer to family where he has worked as a handyman and furniture maker. Roy's tough, he's never needed much, he finds joy in the people and animals he surrounds himself with and now he needs a little help getting back on his feet.
Your generosity is greatly appreciated and any donations received will go straight to helping Roy find permanent shelter and replacing the essentials that he lost. God bless.
