Roxy’s Medical Funds From Her Friends

Hi everyone,

For those of you who don’t know this is Roxy. She needs help with her medical bills for her Breast Cancer and stomach and intestinal issues from and unknown cause. My Yorkshire Terrier will be 7years within the next month. Roxy is everyone’s friend. She loves scratches, loves, walks, and rides. She loves all animals including dogs, cats, chickens, and a gecko. She really just wants to be friends with everything. She has fostered the two cats that I have now and by fostered I mean we at one point had to separate her and our black cat when he was a kitten as he put her into false pregnancy from nursing off her and she was producing milk. She has the biggest heart I know for such a tiny body.

Unfortunately that tiny body is very sick right now and we are doing everything we can to help her. She has been diagnosed with Breast cancer and has undergone 2 surgeries already to remove masses and now has a few more that need to be removed again.

Roxy has been also having stomach and intestinal issues. Lots of on and off diarrhea (with little bits of blood in it sometimes) and vomiting for the past couple months. She has had to live off of chicken, rice and supplements. Anything else upsets her stomach too much and ends up having accidents in the house and starts her vomiting back up. No cookies for Roxy :(. She hasnt even been able to stomach her favorite treats fresh fruit.

Roxy has had fecal exams done and has no worms or parasites. She has tried multiple different foods which again just sent her back to bad diarrhea. The next step is ultra sound(to see if she has any foreign object in her system not passing), bloodwork(to check and see if her organs are still running properly and not taking damage), and steroids(to see if she has an inflamed bowel disease).

Even though she needs another surgery to remove the rest of her breast cancer and possibly one whole side of her breasts(mammary chain), I do not want to put her body under more stress until we can figure out her stomach issues just in case she has to have another surgery for that.

It has been difficult deciding what I can do for her as she has done so much for me. She is one of the most important things in my life my “baby” and she’s only 7 and could have a good 7 more years if I could just help her. Unfortunately my financial situation has set me back on what I can do for her and its not fair to her so I’m here as a last resort, please be Roxy’s friend and help her so she can provide more love, joy, cuddles and kisses to everyone she meets.

We appreciate greatly anyone who helps from large donations to just a dollar to even just sharing her story and helping it reach more people if you can’t donate. I can’t picture my life without her even if she is “just a dog” she is a damn great dog who deserves to live without suffering.
