Roxy the Dog Medical Vet Emergency Surgery Fund

I am looking for financial assistance for Roxy, the bestest friend anyone could ask for!

Roxy is an exceptionally friendly and happy-go-lucky dog. She is very active - some of her favourite activities include (but not limited to), going on long leisurely walks around the neighbourhood, swimming at the cottage, chasing squirrels, and playing with her best friend & father, Randy.

On June 14th @ 3am I was unexpectedly woken up by Roxy. She was acting out of character, her entire demeanor was strange. Given Roxy’s usual nature, I knew there was something wrong so I immediately rushed her to the emergency veterinary hospital. By 4am I was given the crushing news that she has been diagnosed with Bloat (this occurs when a dog's stomach fills with gas, food, or fluid and subsequently twists - this is a serious condition and is fatal within hours if it’s left untreated).

I was given a very short period of time to make the decision; to put her into costly surgery or to say goodbye forever. Roxy being the bestest friend there can be, I did not hesitate. I accepted the large bill.

She made it through like the trooper she is, and now she is on her way to full recovery!

The total amount for the surgery came to $7,461. This is a lot for someone in my position to take care of alone, so I am now seeking help and kindness of others to assist in paying off this collected debt.
