I grew up here in Atlanta and it will always feel like home to me, but the ceiling for me in this city is just too low right now. I can already see myself nearing the limits of the kind of work that's possible for me here and I want to prepare for the inevitable.
For some time now, my long-term goal has been to move west by summer 2020, and I have a window of time in December/January where moving would be super practical. I don't want to miss my opportunity. This gives me three months to raise enough to cover the cost of moving to an apartment in Vegas.
