These past couple of weeks have been full of ups and downs and to top it off, yesterday we thought we were gonna have to put down our girl Roxie...we just got news that the original prognosis was wrong and she could pull through. For those of you who know me, you know there is always a dog in my life and I’m always ready to rescue the next one. Roxie, the dog no one in my household was expecting me to bring home, came in to our lives after the loss of my grandfather and truly helped to turn energy around for us, healing a part of our hearts and helping to pull us out of depression. In particular, the bond between Roxie and my mother and brother is huge. Her life expectancy should be another 10 years which is another reason yesterday’s news was such a huge surprise.
