More About Roxie Cares Campaign: For the first time, in many of our lives, we have experienced a global crisis over the course of the past 5 months with COVID-19, this pandemic has torn apart our city, country, and much of the world we live in.  The truth that this situation brings to light is that our personal lives have been put in danger and many important local businesses and industries are closing their doors, however what will this do to the core of our social structure after the panic is over?  Could this be just as traumatic as the pandemic itself?

The Roxie Theatre is not only concerned about the closing of other small businesses in our community; like places to eat before showtimes and other entertainment venues in San Antonio, and the strength to uphold San Antonio's recognizable creative art scene.  For over 13+ years now, Roxie Theatre  has been a leading venue to raise the level of San Antonio's entertainment and cultural understanding.  Our Company's Mission has always been to support and sustain our local artistic community and for adult patrons to have refreshing local wine and/or beer together while experiencing our friendly artistic Staff & Cast inside Paris' Sideshow Theatrical Stage Venue, P.T.'s Cabaret Piano Bar, and our Underground Speakeasy.  Over the course of the past 13+ years of non-stop work, our team has completely dedicated their lives and means of living to devise a immersive creative space for the entire community to enjoy, and a sanctuary & safe house that welcomes every human being with wide opens arms.

Our team's hope during this time of crisis is to overcome the possibility that the creative arts may not make it in our city and that you will all help us uphold the existence of who we are and what we have become for San Antonio, an award-winning theatre producing machine, a cabaret for artists to express themselves, and an intimate staple of San Antonio entertainment that not only our city, local neighborhoods, and Texas can enjoy, but the entire World.  Our passion & hard work has made us who we are and what we stand for now for nearly two decades.

Roxie is completely committed to using any funds to assist our staff, artists, playwritghts, musicians, sound crew, and production team by keeping the theatre alive so that when we return to normal, we can continue our local impact as a creative nucleus of positive energy for new art when this crisis is over. Also, to provide encouragement, music, comedy and other forms of entertainment during this time when people cannot go out to live shows, we can bring glimpses of live shows to your computer presented through live stream and video.

We appreciate your generosity.  By the end of this pandemic, San Antonio may be left with only corporate logos and mainstream stores without your vision, your help, and your continued support & care.

So please consider supporting our team & staff during this closure and help us uphold your local Roxie Theatre Venue & Vaudeville Performance Saloon Spaces for the future. Contributions will help us make sure each of our artists/employees receive funding and that the rent and insurance are paid through the end of 2020. Please let us know through your donation that you believe in what we stand for and that we stand together, United.

We are grateful for your time and desperately want to stay alive & well so that our doors will open once again and continue to remain that way for a beautifully diverse community that needs it for generations to come. We cannot wait to get back to entertaining you and serving your favorite drinks to you.  In the mean time, we will be presenting segments & postings online to raise crucial funding for the ROXIE CARES CAMPAIGN.

Thank you!
