Roxey Ballet’s Future Fund

Dear Roxey Ballet Family, Friends and Patrons, Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we have postponed all of our upcoming performances of The Pied Piper of Hamlin and Carnival of the Animals. While this was a painful decision, we are trying to moving forward and working on presenting a 2020-2021 season of dance for our community. For ticket holders to Pied Piper there are several options: You may convert your current tickets to a donation supporting Roxey Ballet during this very difficult time - or - You may convert your tickets to next season’s Pied Piper of Hamlin/Carnival of the Animals. Please contact me Lees Hummel at roxeyoutreach@gmail.com to convert or change your tickets. Despite our losses--which included the performances of Pied Piper of Hamlin/Carnival of the Animals, two performances of Carmen for the 7th International Conference on Movement and Computing, the New Jersey Autism Center for Excellence Conference, our 16 week Dance to Learn curriculum for grades k-8 at High Bridge School District in conjunction with dance movement and neuro-biomechanics of autism/special needs led by Dr. Elizabeth Torres, PHD., Rutgers University and Richa Rai, PHD Thesis researcher and The Sensory-Motor Integration Lab (SMIL), and Our Dance to Learn curriculum at Northern Hills Academy, Sussex County --we continue to do everything we can to inspire our community through dance including virtual classes and meetings as well as collaborations with companies and teachers around the nation. We continue to find the opportunities to move forward through a different lens. We are launching our much needed Go Fund Me Campaign to support our incredible programs, company, artists and staff while continuing creation of future repertoire and porgramming. While we know everyone is suffering loss, we know that with your support we can continue to bring innovative and exciting programming to our New Jersey and Pennsylvania community. You can contribute directly to our GoFundMe Campaign by visiting: www.roxeyballet.org with 100% of donations benefiting Roxey Ballet. From the Roxey Ballet family to yours, we will Zoom till we Resume! On behalf of the Roxey's, Dancers and Staff, I thank you for your continued support.
