Roxann's Memorial Funds

Marti, here! I first started this Gofundme to help keep my mom resting at home after she completed her radiation treatments. Things however, quickly took a turn. She went to the hospital days later because of confusion and weakness due to her cancer complications. My mom passed away peacefully in Lincoln on August 19, 2022.

We have been on this cancer journey together since 2014. My mom was truly a rockstar. She had countless doctor appointments, surgeries, treatments, complications, victories, setbacks, etc. Seriously, F the mental gymnastics of cancer. My heart is with everyone who has to experience this horrible whirlwind.

Anyone who knew my Mom, knows she was a hard worker and it was always hard for her to accept help of any kind. She is so deserving of anything monetary that comes her way. She put others before herself ALWAYS, so there is no better idea than to make a donation in her honor so we can kick breast cancer to the curb for others in the future.

I will be making donations to Bright Pink®, a national nonprofit organization focused on prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer, as well as American Cancer Society, in her honor. These organizations are very special to me and my sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha.
