Roxanne Roundtree

Roxanne Roundtree was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) April 23, 2008 at the age of 29. She fought hard for 15 years and passed to be with the Lord on April 15, 2023. Her greatest love and passion was her husband and 3 boys. She would do anything for them, and worked as a licensed nurse to provide for them until ALS took her body from her. Her mind and will power never ceased and continued to help provide for her family by writing a cookbook, Roxy’s Recipes, by using only the blink of her eyes. All she wanted was to make sure her boys were comfortable, and well taken care of. Her final wishes were that in lieu of flowers a fund be set up to assist with her boy’s college funding.

-Don-Don received his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from Texas A&M in 2019, and is currently in his second year of working towards his Doctorates of Physical Therapy

-Bryce finished in the top of his high school class. After 2 semesters he suspended his studies at A&M in order to assist his dad with Roxanne’s full-time care. He is currently planning his return to school in order to receive his degree in Civil Engineering.

-Bradley received his associates in general studies from Wharton County Junior College, while being a part of the school rodeo team.
