Hello!

My name is Roxanne and I'm 45 years old. I'm from Montreal.

I'm currently following my dream of becoming an airline pilot. For the last 5 years I was a student pilot in training in a school around Montreal. I am now proudly licenced and I am a commercial pilot!

I was miserable in my previous career. Couldn't go on anymore. I took all the courage I had to find out what I was going to do next.

I'm in my best shape ever… I am proud of the road I've taken. And I found my dream job! In fact, I always wanted to do this...

In Summer 2020, I passed with great success my PPL licence!

I got Multi-Engine and Instrument rated in April and October 2021.

In 2022, I completed my CPL training and succeeded at my flight test, for my commercial licence, in August 2022.

As you can see, becoming a pilot is not easy. It's time and effort you need to dedicate to your training. I currently have a freelance job that I love, it's a great job, it's part time and it gives me enough money and time to invest in training and studying. But it can't cover all the costs in so short period of time.

Flying school is VERY expensive, it costs about 70-80K to become an airline pilot!

At 45 years old, I'm mature and experienced enough to be disciplined and focused. I have university degrees and I'm very motivated to become an airline pilot.

But even if I am done training and studying, the journey is just beginning... Finding your first job is a challenge. You need to make sacrifices in order to get that chance of being hired with low time.

So I am pursuing my trainings to build up hours and get hired!

I need some help to pursue my dream! Obstacles are numerous and I need support.
