Hi, this is Susan, Roxanne's sister. Cancer has made its way into our lives and has taken an emotional and physical toll on Roxanne and the girls. Not only that, but we have discovered that it is also very expensive to go about the business of diagnosing and testing cancer with all of the ins and outs that go along with the tests and specialists. Luckily, Rox has great medical insurance with her job and is in very good health otherwise! But because of her good health, she has a low premium/high deductible plan and a quite high out-of-pocket maximum to reach. The care provided has been excellent, but some payment is expected at time of every service and that has added up to some rather high bills that were obviously very unexpected. And they will keep coming for awhile. As a single Mom of 4 with two girls in college, this presents some challenges for her and we would like to help her out if we can to relieve some of those unexpected medical bills. She would NEVER ask for help, but I know she has many generous friends who want to help in any way they can and this truly would be a blessing to her. God is good all the time!!!
