In loving memory of my mom, Roxanne Fraser

Hi, my name is Nicole and I never thought I would have to be writing this. A year ago my amazing mom and best friend was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer at the age of 72. Despite a lot of hope, she passed away Dec 27th, at home, with myself and my other 2 siblings.

My mom cannot be buried until May/June because her wish was to be buried next to my grandmother, in her home of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. Currently her body is there, but there is too much snow to lay her to rest.

My mom was silly, fun, the most giving person you would ever meet, and an amazing artist. We rescued cats/kittens together for the last 7 years in TX, and Las Vegas. (and 1 cat in the Cayman Islands) We were working on starting a chain of cat sanctuaries and also a children's book.

There are still costs for burial. My sister and I do not l have the funds to travel at this time, and are dealing with financial strains, along with trying to cope mentally with so many changes.

My mom moved from Texas to Las Vegas, only 7 months before she passed away. (To live near me) We did everything together. I am grateful her last year of life she got to go to her favorite artists concerts. She was such a comedian and the kind person who evoked smiles from anywhere she went. This was supposed to have still been a happy time. Nobody should have to deal with financial struggles along with the nightmare of losing someone they have never had to live without.
