My name is AJ Martinez from The Migrant Alliance, and I am fundraising to gather funds to post an immigration bond for Roxana Perez, a 25-year-old national from Nicaragua, who was detained by immigration authorities on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM.

Roxana is a kind, humble, and hardworking young woman who has always contributed positively to her community. She worked at the airport in the cleaning department, where she was admired by her coworkers and supervisors for her responsibility, dedication, and positive attitude. Her commitment even earned her the title of “Employee of the Month.”

Now she faces immigration detention, and her bond has been set at $6,000 — an amount far beyond what her family can afford. Without help, Roxana will remain separated from her loved ones, unable to continue working and contributing to her community.
