Our family has some sad news to share. My sister in law, Roxan Yonker Schick, has passed away unexpectedly this weekend. The family is very much still in shock and certainly grieving her loss during this difficult time. She leaves behind a loving husband, Kris Schick, her children Ashley Elliot, Kevin Spence, Brooke Spence, and of course her grandbabies that gave her so much joy.
Since Roxan was so young, the tender age of 47, we really didn't see this coming nor were any plans in place to cover any final expenses. With that said, her husband and children could use some much-needed support right now to help cover the cost for her Celebration of Life service. Prayer and warm thoughts are always welcome, but please feel free to donate and to share this link to inspire financial help to facilitate her family's current needs.
Once we have more details on the service, we will share them. Thank you for your patience and for respecting the family's privacy during this difficult time, especially while all the details are being worked out.
Currently, there is a Meal Train that has been set up for Kris, I will share the link here as well in an update once this post has been created.
Thank you again for everyone that has already reached out to the kids, Kris, as well as Roxan's mom, Linda Blough, her sisters, Carla Yonker Hammons, Staci Baumhoff, Amanda Wood, and of course my husband and her brother, Rodney J. Yonker, and to Eric Spence, her ex-husband/ friend, and Ashley, Kevin, and Brooke's dad. And her many aunts, uncles, and extended family and friends. We all appreciate the kindness right now as we all process this loss.
Roxan is preceded in death by her father, Floyd W. Yonker, and her maternal grandparents, Roger J. and Iola Eno.
Thank you in advance for your support and extended love to our family,
Dee Conley.
