Meet Alia, Brad, Scott and daughter Izzy aka ‘Desert 2 Ocean’, who will row across the Atlantic Ocean to raise awareness and essential funds for two incredible children's hospices: Zoe's Place and Alexander Devine's.
The team will be taking part in the The World’s Toughest Row 2027 - a 3,000-mile, unsupported row across the Atlantic Ocean from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to the Caribbean, Antigua.
United by teamwork, resilience, and a shared hunger for challenge, they are proud to be pushing the limits in one of the most demanding endurance events on the planet while raising money for some incredible causes.
Rowing the Atlantic is a brutal physical and mental challenge which will take years of meticulous planning, extensive safety preparation, and countless hours of training to ensure they’ll be ready to cross safely.
The team of Desert 2 Ocean needs your help.
Getting to the start line is a huge undertaking in itself. It is estimated to cost around £150,000 to cover costs of the boat, insurance, safety equipment, training and food; to name a few.
Our generous sponsors play a vital role in helping us reach the start line and in turn maximising the awareness and essential funds for two remarkable charities.
Absolutely any kind of contribution and support is highly appreciated and would mean a tremendous amount to the team and charities.
Thank you very much for reading and we hope you are following along with this epic journey.
