Rowing for National Team & Olympics

My name is Craig Oldiges.  I am 25yrs old and have been rowing for 8yrs.  I started as a junior in High School because I had too many concussions in football.  It didn't take me long to fall in love with rowing and I received a rowing scholarship to Oklahoma City University where I received a BS degree in Criminal Justice.   My collegiate team and I persevered through 5 different coaches in 4 yrs with almost no recruits coming in until my senior year.  During my junior year we had success in the Varsity pair winning gold at the 2018 Dad Vail Regatta, the largest collegiate race in the U.S.  The following year, we took gold in the  V4+, again, at the Dad Vail Regatta.   Summer 2018 I was invited to train at the New York Boat Club and helped the 8+ take gold at Club Nationals in NJ.    Now, as a member of the OKC High Performance Team I am heavily pursuing my goal to make a National Team and/or a 2022  Olympic Team.  This requires the majority of my time, and money. I try to save as much as I can but everything I make has to go towards rent, student loans or food. And with trials events coming up at the end of this month and in May in Sarasota, FL, finances will be taking a hit. I’ve saved $300 so far but looking to try and get up to $1000 to help with the costs of the Airbnb’s and food. Every little bit helps! I’ve had great support from friends and family and I love and appreciate everything you all have done to help me along this path! So if you can donate, know how grateful I am to all of you and your willingness to help!
