On December 26th my cousin suddenly lost his beautiful wife, Rowena. If you were lucky enough to meet her like I was you could see the beauty she had on the inside and out. Rowena and Gabriel Perry were a true love story. She was born in the Philippines and he was born in the U.S. They were both very young when he traveled to the Philippines where they bonded for life. They got married in Oregon in a Catholic church and now five years later he will have to say goodbye to her in the same church they started their life together. She wanted nothing more than to take her family to the Philippines and let her mother meet her pride joy Akisya, her three year old daughter. Rowena and Gabriel built a beautiful family and you could see that it was filled with nothing but love. Gabriel now takes on the task of caring for his beautiful 3 year old daughter Akisya and ensuring that he provides her the life Rowena wanted her to have. Gabriel’s wish is to lay Rowena to rest to the Philippines where she is from. The family wants nothing more than to give her the funeral she deserves and allow Gabriel to take the time he needs while Akisya adjust.
